In light of the limited amount of available parking, and to allow safe emergency access and snow removal, renters must only use the garage parking spaces assigned to their Unit, not any outdoor parking spaces. Parking in front of or partially inside of their assigned garage (or leaving garages open for extended time periods), roof eaves, in fire lanes, or in any other unapproved areas is expressly prohibited and that improperly parked vehicles will be towed.

There is parking for 1 vehicle.  MAX DIMENSION OF GARAGE is 232″ L x 105″ W x 95″ H.

Unfortunately, a large SUV (Suburban or Escalade etc) will not fit in the garage.  If you have a smaller SUV (5 person SUV or Subaru etc), you should fit in the garage and the garage must close.  If you do not fit in the garage, you will need to park in the Snowbird Cliff Lodge valet area for $40 per night in their first-come, first-serve covered parking.

If you don’t fit in the garage during early or late season, when the local area shuttles aren’t running, you will not have a place to park.

Upon arrival, the garage is labeled #23 on the left hand side of the driveway. Your condominium is approximately ten yards further down the driveway on the right hand side and down the steps.  The entrance is at the base of the steps to the left.

Ski storage is at the base of the steps behind the door.  Boot and clothing storage is in the mudroom just inside the door.

This home has a gas fireplace.  Turn on valve located on the right hand side.  Use lighter to light by inserting it into fireplace into the logs and lighting the gas.  PLEASE TURN OFF BEFORE LEAVING UNIT.

The are garbage and recycling containers across and just south of the garage.  The shed is labeled DUMPSTER and has a garage style door. There are bins for recycling, garbage,  and glass. Please keep glass separate.

“Interlodge” is a term most visitors to Alta have never heard before unless they have visited our area in the past. Little Cottonwood Canyon, where Alta Ski Resort and Snowbird Resort are located, receives an average of 500 inches of snow each season. While this is what we all want and why we are considered to have the “greatest snow on earth”, it can also create avalanche conditions. There are many factors that contribute to create an avalanche – just the right combination of snow, wind and temperatures.

You will be notified of road closures/interlodge by the Town of Alta or your caretaker. During times of interlodge, signs are placed across doorways and you are not permitted to exit the property for any circumstance. If a closing is scheduled during the ski day – notices are placed on the white boards next to the ski lifts and on signs next to the road.  We will be in touch with you throughout Interlodge to let you know expected opening times.

The address of the property is 9740 Bypass Road, Alta Utah, 84092.

All occupants agree to comply with this good neighbor policy:

• All occupants must conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful and not disruptive to neighbors, the community and traffic flow around or near property.

• Audible noise outside of the property is prohibited between the hours of 10PM and 8 AM.

• All occupants must comply with applicable parking restrictions and limitations.

LAUNDRY:  We supply laundry pods for you at check in.  Please be sure to put the provided laundry pods INTO the drum, not into the drawer, as it will damage the washer.

The thermostat in the hot tub room controls the bedroom right next door to the hot tub.

Garbage Disposal switch is located under the sink.  Please only place sink debris and not food scraps in drain as Alta has a very delicate sewer system.

The Village at Sugarplum is ski in/ski out to Snowbird.  You don’t need to be an expert skier but, you do need to be an intermediate skier to be able to take advantage of this access. So, how do you ski to Snowbird? The Village at Sugarplum is located at the very end of Blackjack Road. The trail to Snowbird starts at the end of this road and is called the Condo Bypass on the Snowbird trail map. The Condo Bypass is a short run that joins up with the bottom of Whodunnit. From there it is a short distance to Peruvian Express, The Snowbird Center and Tram or you can make your way over to the Wilbere Lift or the Gad Valley (Gadzoom and Midgad Lifts). So…basically, you walk out the door to The View, take a right and put on your skis. To ski back to The Village at Sugarplum, you can take either the Peruvian Express or Tram and then follow the signs for the “Fun Run” or Chips – this is marked with blue trail markers. Follow this down to Whodunnit – this will initially be a cat track. You want to stay on the cat track when Whodunnit turns downhill and you will be back at your starting point.

And how do you get to Alta? The Alta Resort Shuttle has a pick up spot right outside the door to The Village at Sugarplum Condominiums. This shuttle makes a continuous loop of the Bypass Road during daytime hours. The shuttle runs continuously during the day. It will typically take just a few minutes to get up to the Collins or Sunnyside base areas at Alta. After skiing, you can utilize this same shuttle to bring you back to the property or you can ski home from Alta via an off-piste advanced run.

Special Notes: As with any of the runs at Alta and Snowbird, access is based on the current conditions. When looking at a trail map, Whodunnit is in the lower left corner.
