Meet The Team

Adrienne Ruderman and Dan Ketner

Dan and Adrienne have lived and worked at Alta Snowbird since the early 1980s. Their love of skiing and Utah brought them together and it is this passion they share with all of Alta Chalet's guests. They travel extensively in the off season so that Dan can learn the cuisine of the various countries they travel to and bring wonderful food back to their guests. Their latest passion, SUP Surfing (standup paddleboarding), has them travelling to some fun coastal locations both in the US and abroad. Adrienne and Dan enjoy sharing their intimate knowledge of Little Cottonwood Canyon with their clients, whether it be recommending fantastic accommodations or leading the way down an exhilarating powder run. They are both very committed to the community of Alta and the surrounding area, donating their time to various non-for profit organizations and overseeing the Free Resort Shuttle. Adrienne's Favorite Ski Runs: Snowbird's Wilbere Bowl and Alta's High Greely Dan's Favorite Ski Runs: Snowbird's White Pine and Alta's High Boy

Lauralee Church

Lauralee was born and raised in Salt Lake City and learned to ski at Alta when she was 8 years old. She has worked for Alta and Alta Chalets since 1995 and loves connecting with guests and introducing them to a place she calls home. She takes pride in connecting the right guest with the right rental property and maintaining Alta Chalets marketing incentives and client reservations. In the off season, you'll find her motorcycling throughout the Intermountain West and sailing in Mexico on her 32 foot sailboat. Favorite Ski Run - Catherine's Area in Alta

Dora Banegas & Daniel Traub

Daniel (a former school teacher) & Dora (a former property manager), have spent the last three years traveling the globe, bringing the unique and diverse hospitality skills to different properties scattered around the world. Blending their passions for food, hosting, tinkering with just about anything mechanical, and love of new people, they have found their calling. When not chatting with guests or tending to the property, Dora can often be found doing yoga or enjoying her deep love for Latino music. Daniel, when he is not in the kitchen or working on keeping the property operational, will often be found reading, sailing/fishing, or hiking. They call the coast of Maine home, as that is where they have spent the last several summers running a charming bed and breakfast. This will be their fourth season in Alta and they are excited to bring their love for creating unforgettable stays out west.

Theresa is originally from Boston, MA and began working in hospitality at the age of 13. Her first kitchen job was at a neighborhood café, and she never looked back. After earning degrees from Cornell School of Hotel Administration and the Culinary Institute of America, Theresa has worked at a number of restaurants as a server, bartender, manager, and cook. She spent 9 months at Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland, where she learned the importance of slow food cooking. Most recently she has been honing her skills with Outstanding in the Field, traveling around the country and producing farm dinners with local artisans and chefs. Theresa loves to recreate dishes she has experienced at restaurants, particularly Mediterranean influenced recipes. We love having her as part of the Alta Chalets team and are looking forward to seeing her on the mountain and in the kitchen this winter. Favorite Ski Run: West Rustler at Alta
