The view is indeed amazing. The condo is comfortable but in serious need of some updates. The master bedroom television belonged in the 20th century and only worked for short periods at a time. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. The convenience made up for the need for updating.

Fantastic Service, spacious and great place to stay

Alta Chalet and Ben at The View provided such fantastic service prior and during our week stay at The View. The condo was was big and spacious with floor to ceiling views of the canyon and very comfortable accommodations for 3 adults and 2 children. We also used the food service with alta (where they bring food to stock your fridge) and loved the service after having 4 consecutive snow days. My only constructive comments would be that the place was a bit expensive for one family and the ski-in/ski-out is not suited for young children (you ski on a steep blue run down to snowbird so you have to take a shuttle if you only want to ski alta).

Wonderful place that lives up to its name. View down Little Cottonwood was terrific with the peaks being lit for both sunrise and sunset. Very comfortable and spacious (we were a party of 3.) Also very friendly and helpful folks managing the property. I would highly recommend.

The View Unit 21 boasts a fabulous view, terrific lay-out, and easy access to both Alta (shuttle, ski-out) and Snowbird (ski-in/ski-out). My husband and I stayed there with another couple and had plenty of room to spread out. Bonus was en-suite baths for both bedrooms. Alta Chalets staff was very helpful pre-trip and very attentive during our stay. Unit was very clean and more than adequately equipped. Be sure to plan well for groceries as the only limited supplies are available once you get up the canyon. We used the Chef Service offered by Alta Chalets with excellent results. We would definitely stay here again for future trips to Alta/Snowbird.

Very comfortable 2 bedroom vacation condo with fabulous view of sunset and a reflected view of sunrise over the mountains. Easy commute to Alta or Sunbird. Rental agent was very helpful suggesting transportation, food delivery and computer services. They even located a replacement charger for a blackberry and mailed something left behind.
