Brighton House at Alta

We have previously stayed at other alta Chalets and the Brighton House was the nicest so far. We were a larger group this year and the Brighton accomodated us very nicely with its spacious and inviting common rooms, comfortable bedrooms and luxury bathrooms. The location can't be beat, the virtually private ski out to the Chalets is one of the pleasures of staying here. The alta Chalet staff were great to work with throughout our experience; from being helpful in arranging the initial booking, to a comprehensive stocking of the chalet with our food and beverage order, to maintaining the hot tub throughout our stay. We look forward to subsequent visits to this area.

If you want the best of everything

I really don't want to say this because...Brighton Chalet was wonderful, and it may become too popular. The on-site managers, Renata and Ted, made everything so simple. If there was anything we needed or did not understand, they were always there to help. Renata and Ted are the kind of people that make a vacation the best. I especially appreciated the fully outfitted kitchen - it made meals easy. Brighton Chalet has great pots, pans, knives, china and cutlery -- all that you could need. All the applicances, too, from a crock-pot to a capacino machine -- even Sur La Table linens. The house is spacious and warm. The decorating is lovely (except for the white chickens on the kitchen counter). The bed and bath linens were of hotel quality. Also, and most important, EVERYTHING WORKS. Everyone can take a shower at the same time without running out of hot water, the hot tub was hot, and the grill made for super steaks. We have stayed at the Rustler for years - we were there for Christmas --- but I think Brighton Chalet may become our new destination.

Love the Brighton House

House is beautifully furnished, very comfortable, in a great location, and has a complete kitchen. The caretaker couple were very helpful, professional, and friendly. Hope to visit again.
