My two sons shared this studio appartment. one on the murphy bed and one on the pullout sofa bed. It is quite a spacious appartment, better suited for a couple as the sofa bed took up a lot of room when set up. Plenty of room for the murphy bed to be set up all the time. and when sofa bed closed, a nice lounge area. good size kitchen for two people. large fridge. good cooking facilities, plenty of storage space to unpack. good size bathroom.Much better than a motel room.

Great location, warm and comfortable... so, it's a little "dated" -- good grief, you're at alta not Deer Valley! It's clean and has a full kitchen, which is much better than the kitchenette set up in we had in Park City the week before. We found the studio quite roomy, with a very comfortable living area, plenty of storage for luggage in the roomy front closet, ski lockers, etc, so you're not tripping over your stuff even with the bed open. Alta Chalets was easy to work with, quickly responded to questions during the reservation process. The on-site managers (Matt & Mindy) gave terrific guidance during Interlodge which helped us figure out how best to fix our upended travel arrangements. The limited lodging in/around alta makes this area more expensive than options you can find in Park City, but if you are looking for a private and comfortable condo (i.e. more space than a regular hotel room) convenient to everything -- including great skiing at both alta and Snowbird -- with a warm and friendly staff, stay here, it's more than a fair trade. We enjoyed it.

Nice small condo. The unit is a little dated, however very well maintained and clean. Awesome location. Alta Chalets was professional and quite easy to deal with.We were quite pleased. A three foot Powder day certainly met our expectations!! My son and I really had a special time thanks to alta Chalets.

Cozy ski accomodations

Perfect for 2 people. It was great to have the full kitchen rather than a kitchenette. Very convenient to the slopes with frequent shuttle service. One whole side of the unit is a window so there's wonderful natural light. The unit was clean and the bed comfortable, but the decor could use updating. It would also be nice to have better lighting - there's no bedside lighting, just an unshaded flourescent bulb that's unpleasant to read under. There's also no bedside table on the left side of the bed to place a travel clock, etc. The management is extremely friendly and helpful. On the whole, though, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Ideal ski in and out location in a casually elegant lodge on an epic mountain. But by far the best thing is the small staff who work selflessly to deliver an extraordinary level of customer service so they might continue to live the dream.
