Blackjack is conveniently located to both alta and Snowbird. Our unit was well stocked with all amenities - comfortable and nicely decorated. The bed and linens were good quality and very comfortable. The condo itself is much larger than it looks on the net. The view of the mountain is lovely. The staff attended to everything we needed. We arrived, parked our car and never used it again - a fabulous shuttle service is available to drive you all around that is both quick , efficient and free!. It is best to bring your groceries with you -there is not much shopping once you get up the canyon - also in case you get snowed in!

This was advertised as ski in ski out...but it did not work for a beginner because there is a challenging hill between the house and Snowbird. The shuttle runs to Alta, but NOT to Snowbird and we were not warned to rent equipment at Alta. That warning would have made this work.

As soon a you enter the lodge, the panoramic windows display a view like no other I've ever seen in a ski resort. Absolutely breathtaking and amazing to wake up to every morning. The lodge was really comfortable and spacious. All the facilities were fantastic and it was a real home away from home. We could have stayed forever. The staff at Alta Chalets are so helpful and lovely. My husband and I will return many times in the future for the warmth and friendliness as well as Alta's powder skiing which changed my life.
